“CEQLS Lecture: Tragedy of Commons. On Ecology and Economics”

The Slovakian Conservative Institute is hosting a lecture on the “Tragedy of Commons. On Ecology and Economics”. The event will take place in Bratislava (Crowne Plaza Hotel [Conference room: London], Hodžovo námestie 2, Bratislava) on Monday 12 March (5:30-8:30pm). The lecture will feature David Schmidtz, professor of Philosophy, joint professor of Economics, and founding Director of the Center for Philosophy of Freedom at the University of Arizona. The event will be hosted by Peter Gonda, director of the Conservative Institute. This lecture is part of the Conservative Economic Quarterly Lecture Series (CEQLS). The CEQLS are a series of public lectures given by worldwide well-known economists which have been held by Conservative Institute quarterly in Bratislava since 2005. The Conservative Institute received the prestigious 2009 Templeton Freedom Award in the Ethics and Values category for the implementation of the CEQLS cycle of economic lectures.
